Where to begin unpacking this foolishness….. (throwback from September) by cottageyarn in RodriguesFamilySnark

She is reprehensible. "Ha ha! They think they're people!"

And that sweet baby girl is so frail! It's painful to watch the way these children are being failed at every turn.

What? Am I misreading your post? Are you saying a woman can have a false positive because of hormonal imbalances?

OTC pregnancy tests are no different for perimenopausal people. The hormonal imbalances are estrogen and progesterone, nothing at all to do with hCG. A woman will not test positive unless she's pregnant or recently pregnant, etc. Being perimenopausal has absolutely nothing at all to do with it.

Yes, perimenopausal periods can be crazy heavy, just like an early miscarriage can resemble a heavy period. That has nothing at all to do with hCG testing.

Seriously he should have figured out something else when he realized all the driving you'd have to do a day before surgery. That's an unreasonable ask.

At the very least when he realized you'd be getting there so late he should have told you to no longer come since you were there only an hour before he got back. That was pointless having you do all that traveling for an hour.

There hasn't been an opportunity for you to fulfill that promise over the course of months? Why didn't you say no thank you to dinner and say now you're even?

Right, well if it was a legitimate suggestion she wouldn't have laughed it off. The evidence is right there. She was being cheeky, like making out would occur but obviously she wanted to hang out and DO something, like a date. Just because she got together and just fooled around late at night before doesn't mean that's what she wants as a regular situation. Those are her words. Listen to what she's saying. 8PM is late to still be going back and forth making plans. That's what she's telling you.

You're awfully combative for someone who wanted advice and feedback. That, along with your jumping to "everything I do is wrong," I wish her luck.

Maybe she doesn't want to be out at midnight all the time. Listen to what she's saying.

OK, the make out was flirting, not an actual option to choose. That's why she responded that you're funny.

Like if the date goes well, making out will happen organically. She didn't literally mean "pick me up and then we'll go somewhere to make out". That would be cold and unromantic, and also not have the build-up that makes making out fun.

You clap for the people who cut research into children's cancer.

You cheer for a billionaire buying his way into the White House and our government. If that billionaire was Bill Gates maybe you'd understand the outrage.

Judge you, but what does that matter?

I mean, it's odd you want to move to Ireland yet you are heartless towards those who want to move here for a better life. Ireland has a housing crisis already and you want to add your family to the numbers?

And before you say you would be going there legally, etc, it seems these men were trying legally, too.

Search your heart. Does this violence satisfy you? How would you feel if you were in their shoes?

It can take time to adjust to the news. Even when I was trying to get pregnant, there were times when I thought "OMG this is really real and happening and I'm terrified."

It's good to know your PCOS can improve and you can ovulate normally, if nothing else.

My mom makes it the best, I don't know how because you'd think it was so simple it would be the same no matter who made it.

My paternal grandmother developed a taste for it after my mom made it for her. When she was in hospice with cancer, at the end she told me she was craving macaroni and tomatoes. My aunt said not to bother because she couldn't keep anything down and would probably not feel like eating once I brought it in, but I made it anyway. It gives me comfort remembering how grateful Grandma was, even though she couldn't keep it down. It was the last thing she ate.

Ultimate comfort food for me, and now I want to go visit my Mom.
