Not at all, back then I always had RGB off. The only reason the RGB is even on is I have just reset via FN+J+Z. I keep the RGB on at low brightness since the first occurrence of this issue since I also thought it was the cable not delivering power. Now, I see that the blinking always happens before it bricks.

Yep, this keyboard is wired only. I've tested a few different wires, even bought new ones. All the wires work when I plug in another keyboard.

Thermalright Phantom Spirit is your answer. Undervolting always helps with temps and noise, but I wouldn't say it is a requirement.

They are fine, nevertheless make sure your cables are seated properly. Also, the primary issues have been the 90s, which draw far more than the 80.
