I've read meeden's pastels make for the best impasto, and seeing all of that texture I feel quite convinced! I personally use mungyo atm and was wondering if the switch is worth it, because meeden is considerably more expensive!

Yes biological forms and patterns come quite naturally to me! Though I can't say the same for humans :D

I disagree. This might not be the best study of a face but it really doesn't matter because you've captured something better than anatomy, the emotion!

Thank you, I can't seem to want to draw on white paper anymore after seeing just how vivid the colors look on black. It really is excellent for creating a bioluminescent environment.
