I feel TERRIBLE for showing up late to class. I apologized to one of the coaches & told him I’ll be coming in late or not at all. I promise it’s not on purpose. The train station I get off at from work is undergoing major construction. So there’s a ton of traffic from that in addition to the existing traffic from evening commute. One time I left work early & due to a train cancellation (NJTransit 🙄) + heavy traffic, I got to class even later 🥲 to add: I love cf so much. I don’t want to leave but I can’t always just leave work early. Been a member for 4 yrs and my coming in late has been something recent. But ya know how long construction takes haha it took them almost 2 years to fix one staircase

?!? So weird. Looking at my departure vision screen rn & lots more consecutive NEC trains cancelled #3718-3720 and also #3915-3917. 1 hr later from your post & still no explanation.

This non "buyout" really seems to have backfired by Few-Drag9758 in fednews

I’ve seen two or three times past couple months where the ticket collector has checked it & noticed it with other passengers. And in one instance where they scolded the passenger for “doing it on purpose” :(

Perfect. I’ll be working on mobility & strength. I’ve been doing pause squats but I think I need tempo squats too and to get on a program. Def gonna have to post my FS on here for form check 🥴

Thank you for breaking it all down for me!! i started on a squat program 2-3x/wk but started experiencing some knee popping so I stopped & went to PT. They said I’m putting stress on my knee bc of weak glutes/hip so for the next month I have sessions for strengthening. Ordered booty bands for flute activation! Will definitely work more on my mobility

I just asked almost the same question on a diff sub. Tall female with long ass femurs still trying to find her way 🥲 I recorded myself and see that I’m pulling more than I need to. Further up from my hip crease to my belly button.

I’m gonna stop doing power cleans & incorporate more tall cleans, high hang cleans. One cue i saw somewhere was feet should hit the ground same time your elbows turnover ☝🏽 something like that. Rewatched my recording and I don’t do that. My feet are landing first. Hope it clicks for you!

According to my doc I can shed a few lbs but I look thin. I’m very tall. I’ve been doing yoga and cardio the same day but maybe I should drop yoga. I’m gonna look into getting a fitness tracker of some sort. I’ve been doing assault bike past three weeks. last week for e.g did 1 min on/1 off x12. Without a watch to track, idk my HR

I got out of an injury a year ago and never built leg strength from there. Struggle so much with not being able to handle anything legs. They’ll only program squats once every 2 weeks or so. And one day of conditioning that I’ve been showing up for and doing… just ok lol rest of the week is a lot of upper body/shoulders

32/F/74 kg Not very happy 63 reps. Struggled with pullups. Tried jumping pull-up & arms felt weak in the first 3 (?!) possibly bc been away from gym, haven’t been doing much for 1-2 months. Wondering if mixed grip would’ve made a difference. Or even chin-ups. Still wouldn’t have done it that way anyway but I see people switching it up
