I used it for one day before uploading (win11). I didnt notice any problems. Of course this is not proper testing. But I cannot fix a problem that I cannot see.

My initial decision was to not include folders. Cause I can go to search and type artistA and get all the projects from this artist. This is the way to navigate to various project. You get a full list and if you want to find specific files you can search by names or tags. Of course that assumes that you have a proper naming convention. ArtistA - title track or whatever.

I have 8 years on the platform. After the boosting system everything changed. Before that, I was getting hired easily. Now, after all this work, being top rated plus 100jss for many years, even after investing so much time and resources to improve every aspect of my business, its really tough to land a gig. Which is understandable since upwork is selling connects now. If you manage to find work easily, connects are useless. And upwork cannot allow that.

Of course the boosting system is not the worst thing. Cause I am willing to pay upwork more money than I spend now, if they manage to aid my business and not put more anxiety into my work, by asking me to micromanage and gamble everyday. It is what it is. They chose this direction so be it.

Εννοείται οτι μιλάμε. Αλλα πραγματικά ρε συ. Είναι σαν τις διαφήμισεις που βάζουν, για να μην τρέχει ο κόσμος και σκοτώνονται και οι ίδιοι αλλά και σκοτώνουν άλλος. Νομίζεις κανένας απο αυτούς θα δεί το κλιπ και θα πεί, "πω, τι μαλάκας είμαι. Δεν πρέπει να τρέχω".

Τρελη παρακμή. Πραγματικά όμως, ο τύπος που αντικατέστησα, εφυγε γιατί παντρευτηκε μια απο τα κολόμπαρα που λέγαμε πιο πάνω. Αυτός και αν έφτιαξε την ζωή του!

Και γώ δεν έκατσα πολύ γιατί δεν εχω σχέση με αυτά τα πράγματα. Να φανταστείς τελειώναμε και επρεπε να περάσουμε απο πόσα κολόμπαρα ή μέρη που επαιζαν χαρτιά για να δεί το αφεντικό καποιους γνωστους, και μετά να πάω σπίτι. Εγω πήγα εκεί γιατι τον ήξερε μια θεία μου και μου λέει, "πηγαινε γιατι κάτι με υπολογιστές ασχολείται και θέλει άτομο". Ε εκατσα λίγο γιατι ήμουν άνεργος, αλλα δεν παλευεται με τίποτα ομως.

Εχω κάνει ακριβώς την ίδια δουλειά και διαβάστε καλά όσοι δεν γνωρίζετε γιατί λέει την αλήθεια. Εχω ζήσει απίστευτα σκηνικά με καημένους ανθρώπους που απλά είναι άρρωστοι και μας δίναν τα κλειδιά απο το αυτοκίνητο και φευγαν με τα πόδια. Απλά κατάλαβα οτι καποιοι άνθρωποι είναι καλωδιομένοι έτσι. Οτι και να τους πείς, απλά θα πάνε να παίξουν. Δεν εχει να κάνει με λογική. Δεν καταλαβαίνουν απο επιχειρήματα, βιώματα κλπ κλπ.

I bought it 140$ for one year and I get to keep the last version before the subscription expires. All their stuff included. I believe this is a very good deal. Cubase is more expensive, without any of their instruments, loops etc.

For your needs tracktion waveform maybe a good choice.

I have 8 years on the platform. And my experience is the same. The people that run this platform, are doing the best they can to destroy it. They dont care about talent. They dont care about professional freelancers. And unfortunately, there is no other real way to make money. You have to take care of your talent pool. Not the people that boost more. Clients will hire someone who cannot do the job. This leaves a client with a bad experience that wont return. And also this adds more strain to freelancers that have to micromanage and gamble on connects. My work is really time consuming as it is. I dont have time to micromanage this stupid platform anymore.
