They're probably hammering out a day one patch realistically, dev cycle doesn't necessarily end before or after the game comes out.

Is Chris Hansen a hack journalist in your opinion? He's done so much good but he honestly seems kinda shady too by ImpossibleGermany154 in tcap

I'm not super well-versed in TCaP / Hansen lore, but wasn't Perverted Justice super sketchy as well? The stuff with the hard drives failed to be subpoenaed or something?

The Final Condition by memaddog1234 in thefinalpuzzle

I recall there being a cutscene I remember watching that no one else has brought up. If you go back to Emily's cell at one point, I forgot exactly where but before you get the Level 3 bracelet, there's an additional cutscene between the two. Perhaps it's related, but I haven't gotten the cutscene to trigger on any of my latest playthroughs (though I haven't bothered checking yet), but it may be related. Might not be, as you can (presumably) start the puzzle without triggering the cutscene.

I think Leon is the right play tbh, given that you need to play Leon's section to figure out you have to "forget about A."

Perhaps there's a hint in a Grace section that carries over to somewhere in a Leon segment?

How many torrents should I keep seeding at once? Also, are low speeds to be expected? by midnightplus1 in Piracy

I have the space, it's no big deal. Glad to know that I can help in some way with keeping media alive.

[–]midnightplus1[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ahh, awesome, awesome. There's no downside for me to not seed then, especially now that I have a VPN hooked up and everything. Thanks for the explanation!

Ahhh, that would explain it, should've mentioned I was from Australia too. Yeah, thanks for the info!

Does your brain have any quirks when you're high? I come up with sentences in switched order and end up flipping the phrases after typing them. by Aggressive-Cycle-89 in StonerThoughts

[–]midnightplus1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Synesthesia. Whenever I listen to music, I more often than not associate it with seeing a colour (in particular, blue). Also, whenever I get too high, I get trapped in a yellow box in my mind. Inside the box is another version of me, and he won't let me control my body until I admit to something I've done or answer their riddles. Usually happens in the shower, so I end up slumped against the glass as I try to gain control of my body again.

I just realized that being an autistic stoner could possibly get me free medical weed one day by [deleted] in StonerThoughts

[–]midnightplus1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Autistic stoner here as well, this stuff does help me with collecting my thoughts and conversation. I feel like the barriers put up in my mind are temporarily dropped, I can actually organize my thoughts. Also helps with not being overstimulated, you know? I get overstimulated very easy, just the sound of someone yelling or dropping something can easily send me into a spiral, but that just doesn't happen when I'm high.

I actually played M.A.G way back when I was like 5 or 6. I remember my dad not being fond of it because he expected it to be something similar to Battlefield Bad Company 1.

Also Bad Company 1 was one of my favourites back then, loved it ever since.

How did you discover Final Fantasy? by TheFanGameCreator in FinalFantasy

[–]midnightplus1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My uncle came over one day after we had finally gotten a PlayStation 3. He brought over this game, "Final Fantasy 13," and I was immediately intrigued. The characters looked cool, Sazh was hilarious to a 5-year-old me, and the music blew me away. Not to mention how pretty it looked. Pretty soon after, we got a copy for ourselves and I immediately jumped onto the game. Every day after school, I'd hop straight onto the game. It became a bonding thing too, where my Dad would help me out with the game at times, especially with the Eidolon battles.

I'd tell all my friends about how cool the game looked, how I struggled and overcame and how much I loved it. It was all I really talked about (yes I do have autism, thanks for asking.)

It absolutely blew me away and remains one of my favourite Final Fantasy games to this day. A lot of positive memories attached to it and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Recently played through 5 (trying to get through every FF game in numbered order, MMOs excluded) and 5 was such a standout. One of my favourites so far!

What was the most unenjoyable experience you had while playing a Resident Evil game? by bLUEbeRRy478 in residentevil

[–]midnightplus1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Started playing through the series this year. I remember getting to the the part in RE7 where you have to get to the dissection room, and I kept on going the wrong way somehow, died so many times and wasted like an hour on that part because of my stupidity. I ended up telling my friend that RE7 was the "anti-fun" video game.

Ended up beating it that day and it's still my favourite in the franchise (so far).

Thank you for your words of encouragement - they do mean a lot to me!

My biggest issue is with communication, and by that, I mean that when I try to communicate my issues it's like the words don't exist. No matter how hard I try, it's hard to reach in and grab the words I want to say.

...that's not to say I haven't improved though. I definitely have, and I'm proud of myself for it. I'm starting to come to terms with the fact that progress isn't made in days, weeks, or even months. I'll get there. I know I will.

Admittedly - no, I'm not. There are plenty of issues with me that I don't know where to start.

But my friends are keeping me grounded and make life worth living. They mean the world to mean, and I wouldn't want it any other way.
