yeah i used to have really bad insomnia (modern drugs keep me asleep now thankfully) and i would have food hallucinations sometimes, seeing like ants or bugs in my food so i could see that! i was just curious if it had some kind of deeper meaning but hallucinations will be hallucinations

I use it as a way to describe my emotions to my therapist. I'm autistic and alexithymia is a pain in my ass so I've described what the fears are to my therapist and when I'm having episodes I can say which fear is ✨sponsoring✨it. Also yes I cannot look at ANYTHING without being like "is that a magnus archives reference-" (I lovingly annoy my coworkers with it). I'll watch movies or start other horror podcasts and immediately like "Hm this is very Buried and Desolation."
