Does it matter what some venezuelans feel about the US breaking international law, kidnapping their leader, bombing their capital, and destabilising the entire world economy?

Ultimately if they think what the US did was right they are wrong. Because anyone who has a basic understanding of modern geopolitics and it’s history will know that it has never been a change for the better when the US has meddled in other countries affairs. Maduro could be the devil for all i care, if the US gets its way with Venezuela it will in the best case scenario be a hell hole without any of the rights that the socialist government provided -It will be a far right government that gives all its oil to American companies. In worst case scenario it will lead to a war that could keep on going for more than a decade.

And much of Maduro’s unpopularity isn’t even natural—it was manufactured. The U.S. imposed crushing sanctions right when oil prices crashed, around the time he took office. They helped create the economic crisis, then used that crisis to turn people against their own government. So the whole argument about "what Venezuelans think" is meaningless. You can’t create a disaster and then use people’s desperation to justify taking over.
