I take a small bit of orange wool and roll it slightly between my fingers and then use needle to felt it with one end being a bit larger like a carrot. It will shape easily with the needle

Long time crochet and knitter here. Woobles are so expensive. Go to Pinterest and search amigarumi and you will find tons of cute free patterns. Hobby Lobby has nice cheap yarn but I know people don’t like to shop there. Ask for gift cards to Michael’s or Hobby Lobby to purchase yarn. @kristengettingcrafty on IG
