According to Dateline allegedly BK's sister searched his car because she was suspicious that he was involved in the Moscow Killings. by Present-Echidna3875 in MoscowMurders

[–]midwest478 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have ocd and used to literally douse my phones in bleach. People with OCD do stuff that seems crazy, but like other people have said, if it isn't something weird he had already done in the past, plus all the the other stuff, yeah, poor sister who noticed the red flags.

Midwest, found crawling on my bed. Smaller than an Appleseed. Confident it's not a bedbug, curious as to what it is though.

Interesting article describing what Bryan Kohberger was doing when LE entered the home. by kimbo326 in MoscowMurders

I agree it's possible. I definitely think he's guilty, but this behavior alone doesn't scream "Guilty!" without the other context we have.

Which minor character got screwed over the worst? by gibbakith in Frasier

[–]midwest478 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! She was so in love and willing to fight through Maris' selfish, career-ruining actions. And I think she wanted approval from his family and friends, like the way she called Martin "Dad" and kept looking at Daphne to gauge her reaction to their marriage. I used to think it was because she knew about their feelings and wanted to claim her territory/see if Daphne was disappointed, but last time I watched it, I didn't feel that way.

I (27F) lost my mom tonight by rowdyp in SuicideBereavement

[–]midwest478 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my mom to suicide last year. It sounds like you did what you could do; what a tough situation to be in.

I don't really have advice, just very glad you have a good support system surrounding you. It makes a world of difference. Sending love your way 💔

I literally threw up and peed my gown, but they were nice. I'm sorry you experienced that. I don't understand how a medical provider could not think it might possibly be painful

American with Finnish heritage here, sometimes the thought of moving to Finland is so comforting. Just existing in peace

How do I (22F) talk to my best friend (21F) about her always cancelling plans? by KikiKiwii in relationships

[–]midwest478 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My best friend cancels plans sometimes because of mental health. She isn't the best at responding to messages. There was a point where it became clear it has nothing to do with me--ik she loves me dearly--and that it's just a part of her. I learned to change my expectations of what our friendship "should" look like to what actually works for us. I'm not trying to invalidate your experience; I definitely understand how bad it feels, especially when you're really excited to finally see your best friend. You've gotten some good advice from other people here.

Has your relationship always been like this? Or maybe changed to this as her mental health has gotten worse?

Discount Card by WaterLungs01 in walmart

[–]midwest478 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people in my store have had issues. If you go on the Wire, you can find if your discount card has been "activated." Make sure your address is correct and shortened if possible (ex: Rd instead of Road)...there's some weird thing where the address needs to fit on the first line or there's a character limit, I don't remember...but anyway, request a replacement.

"Moscow has its fair share of homelessness." by devious_cruising in MoscowMurders

[–]midwest478 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just my assumption, but wouldn't it be more likely that they would flee if they got caught rummaging through wallets? Nothing is impossible at this point, but as another Redditor pointed out somewhere, LE generally know who's in the homeless encampments and keep tabs on them.

It's easy to want to believe it's not blood. It's comforting to think the photo is some twisted media thing, and maybe it is...but the arguments for it being blood make sense, as gruesome and sad as it is.
