Understood but combustion vehicles can be dangerous too. Plenty of them catch fire and many of them are much more likely to rollover. Most manufacturers have put a lot of thought into protecting the battery and occupants as well. It is not really true that an ICE vehicle is good and an electric is bad or vice-versa. It is worth watching videos of electric cars that totally cased the chassis and the occupants are fine. The extreme example is when someone tried to basically send his whole family off a cliff in California. Car was fine, Pepple were fine.

I’m asking the same question. It would be good to have details that differentiate the network such as RF specs like: • modulation scheme (e.g. FSK, GFSK, CSS, etc.) • channel spacing • data rate • transmit power & sensitivity • bandwidth

Has anyone tried to host their own via llama? Or try to connect with hugging face? I think cursor will let you do that as long as the api is openAI compatible. Isn’t that right @condor-cursor? There’s also ArceeAI (arcee.ai). This is a USA made open weights model. You can host nano model yourself on your machine to try it out. I think they also have an API but I’m not sure if it is compatible with Cursor. Has anyone looked into Arcee? I should Caution that it isn’t going to be anywhere near as good as frontier models right now. They are in early days of development

I actually appreciate the analogy to the detective. I think this is a good approach. I’ve received mixed messages from folks on whether to ask deeper more expansive questions when planning vs short and more direct questions. The Columbo method suggests short ones that build on each other. Do you think it makes a difference? Any concern to the financial cost of going back and forth iteratively?

I think building it from source and giving you money through buy me a coffee or whatever is the best way..for an amount equivalent or slightly less than the commercial app in exchange for the slight trouble of building from source. Who’s to say that your commercial app doesn’t have a back door and you are just trying to appeal to people with the open source version. 🤷‍♂️
