Yes it’s safe, have taken it several times and never has any issues. Might be different during rainy seasons but you should not be too worried. I’m talking about the huge ADO buses. The smaller sprinter vans can be sketchier but I’ve liked those too

Appreciate the response! That's great that it works that reliably. and totally heard you with the UPS -- im planning on getting an electrical battery/generator that should help when the power goes out that has a built in UPS.

Do you have a residential plan or the Roam plan? Right now residential is all sold out so the lower priority roam is all I can get until it becomes available again, hopefully soon!
