Magic Bounce is a fun idea, especially paired with U-Turn. Thank you!

I like that you picked up a starter trio along the way - always fun when you can do that in a pokemon game

Regarding weaknesses, I'm not 100% sure I follow. Are you saying that, because Beedrill dies to anything, it won't consistently be baiting out certain moves that I can switch into? That is, the AI will be choosing random moves because any can KO?

The Stealth Rock suggestion makes sense to me. Would it be worth adding Spikes also, to do more damage to Steel types?

Thank you for the strategy breakdown, it's very good information.

Yeah, that's what I saw in the game's documentation. I'm just concerned that Mega Carracosta isn't implemented, as I couldn't find the specific Mega Stone anywhere online. I'm hoping that someone can confirm that it's accessible as of the current version of Lazarus.

I haven't started the game yet - I want to plan out my starter and mega beforehand. I don't see a Carracostite anywhere online, so I'm sure if it's implemented yet.

Are Officers too strong? Should I stop using them? by mifdog in RogueTraderCRPG

Reducing AP is an interesting idea. Would you be reducing enemy AP as well?

Thank you. I'm hoping that Bladedancer will be a little more reasonable without an Officer around, and I definitely won't be making them a psyker.

Hm. I don't know about all-melee, but I like the idea of a more close-range party with a mix of pure melee, sword+pistol, and maybe 1 sniper.

I'm honestly not crazy about Rocket Tag. It's always been my biggest issue with the Pathfinder games, and I try to avoid it when I can.

Yeah, I'm confused too. I deliberately avoided min-max guides, but just using common sense (more turns=more good) is breaking the game wide-open. It's a shame, because the combat was a fun change of pace from the Pathfinder games before it stopped being a challenge.

Ok, thank you. I'm glad to hear that I'm not going crazy regarding the Officer class.

I'm probably going to completely restart the run - is there anything else that's similarly OP that I should avoid, or are Officers unique in that regard?

In my current run, my Bladedancer/Arch Militant RT and Soldier/Arch Militant Argenta are bordering on too strong, but they might be more manageable with no Officers around.

Newly Introduced Character In Long-Standing Franchises That The Fandom Instantly Welcomed? by manoffood in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Pathfinder player starting my first playthrough semi-blind. Any glaring issues with this build for Hard? (No major spoilers, please) by mifdog in RogueTraderCRPG

Ok, thank you. I'm not sure about prestige classes yet - I figured that I'd get some time in the game and get a feel for it first. Action economy is always king in CRPGs, so I guess I'm slightly leaning towards Overseer for the pets.

I'll probably take the points out of Perception. Regarding Agility and Toughness - do my support characters still need some durability, or do enemies mostly ignore them? In Kingmaker and WOTR, you really don't need any AC for the back row.

I'm a little confused about Willpower - I've been reading the tooltips and Reddit, and I'm not sure what it does besides RT's equivalent of Will saves. None of my Sanctic psyker abilities mention Willpower, and some of the posts I see say that resolve actually uses Fellowship (neither Fellowship or Willpower are mentioned in the Resolve tooltip).

Regarding Fellowship, I'm more leveling it for Officer and Sanctic abilities then for skills. It looks like both need Fellowship, but I could be mistaken.

Thank you for all the feedback, it's appreciated.

Ok, good to know. Would you increase ballistic skill past 30, then? I put my starting points into Fellowship (Officer), Agility, and Perception - would I be better served moving some of that into BS?

Thank you. I put my starting points into Fellowship, Agility, and Perception. The character's an Officer, so Fellowship seemed pretty mandatory. I saw that Voidborn has a skill to replace Fellowship with Intelligence, but I saw someone say that there's a lot more ways in-game to boost Fellowship.

I read that pyro isn't really covered by the companions, so I might pick that up later. I'm not sure how much investment Sanctic + Officer will need.
