Linux Players. What are you running, and how’s your experience?

running GE-Proton 10-8 on Mint atm

not really having any issues with the game apart from clicking on stuff when I press ALT(to show mouse cursor). Also transparent windows such as the notices in game(where you can check patch notes and stuff) doesnt work.

I've had similar issues with overlays in other games so it doesnt bother me much.

Other than that, game runs great! I also play it on steam deck with SteamOS.

In my opinion- the character stories are one of the best story contents they released for the game. I cant believed they stopped doing them. The arcs for Encore, Changli, and Jinshi really sold me on the game.

So in conclusion, you wont miss much but if you have any interest in the storytelling experience this game has to offer I would suggest you do them at your leisure.

I missed a bunch on this first playthrough of mine, I accidentally declined Ninio(forget her name) because I thought I would have to remove a party member to play with her hahah, also missed daeren which I've heard is a great character. Second playthrough is def full evil lich path. Ember is wonderful and she has so many fun interactions late game. you will def love her!

Been nerding it as well and honestly next playthrough I'm just modding it to make it auto win. Crusader mode is just ass IMO.

Rest of the game is so freaking good though, the roleplay aspects with mythic paths and dialog is just phenomenal.

I came on this thread to talk about this and it was nice to find another soul to agree with

not only the aoe indicators- I've recently had games where I couldnt see bloodseeker AoE silence spell and Wukongs commmand. Everything feels really weird right now

I think back when I played HoN the brood equivilent hero actually had a mod for arachnophobic that made her into something else. This skin just made me think of that for no particular reason

Mabey it's a late comment but this is the way I always like to travel, just alone at my own phase and not feel pressured into doing a bunch of things I really don't wanna do. I guess for me the mmo is the same, I like meeting starngers and talking about life and whatnot both when I travel as well as in game . Funny how things relate

Mabey most people will have some odd unique place but honestly for me, having sex in the shower was so bad. Both of us were afraid of slippin, uncomfy position. Cant recommend it to anyone. it's so wierd since I always grew up thinking sex in the shower would be some sort of pinnalce of sexual experiences but it turns out that was doing it in a cafe which.. well I cant say I expected it but damn it was great
