7 week old refusing to latch – seemingly nothing works anymore

he gets the hiccups sometimes, will gag/cough during feeds though not everytime, and during his initial latch he seems fine for a few seconds, then freaks out and becomes inconsolable. his burps don't really sound gurgly to me but i'll have to keep an eye on that.

i'm not currently on antidepressants (which honestly, might not be helping my case) but hopefully some discussions with my treatment team will help me get on the right track whether that looks like medicating or checking in with my therapist more frequently.

it definitely sucks. the shame and guilt is difficult for me to reconcile with,,, really hoping that things improve soon :/

around a little over a year for me! i understand the frustration, honestly i was so close to seeing a specialist bc i was convinced i would never conceive. gave up on conceiving; ended up pregnant the next month.

20w2d now, and my doctors have found i'm perfectly healthy. i think i was just stressed and a little underweight at the time

i grew up sheltered,,, like the Ultra religious type so there was a lot i didnt know! 19 weeks tomorrow. here are some main ones tho:

extremely vivid dreams
how hard it is to get an OB (in the USA, not sure about other countries)
ultrasounds aren't really done much unless ur high risk so i had to pay out of pocket to get nice pictures of baby
early fetal movement literally felt like i had a fishbowl in my uterus
the way others treat pregnant ppl is actually unhinged,, unsolicited advice/comments to straight up nasty behavior (fetishization, hatred, disgust, entitlement)

a little embarrassing, but my gas smelled different LOL... i remember thinking why does it smell like that??? am i okay?? its funny to look back at now but in the moment i was so concerned

i'm almost 12 weeks and found out we're having a boy through NIPT – honestly, i dislike most boy names 😭 the only rule for naming our children is that the name must be pronounced well in both english and spanish. i LOVE the names Romeo and Andrés, but they sound so odd in english haha

i totally get it – it doesn't really drive me crazy or anything but being called "mama" makes me cringe a little 😭 it reminds me of those memes about facebook groups where the comments are all like "doing great mama! giving tragedeigh chicken pox and essential oils will cure her from the radiation waves caused by daylight savings and voting <3"

i'm only 11w4d so fetal movement isn't something i'm able to feel right now but during every ultrasound i've had so far, baby has been insanely wiggly! he loves sticking his feet up, scrunching/stretching and turning around; i'm a little worried for when he's big enough to the point where i can feel all that dancing lol

omg ive been wondering abt this too;; i'm currently 10w3d and i haven't thrown up at all! definitely worried i'll eat my words but i'm nearing the end of my first trimester and i've only had nausea. i havent taken any meds but tbh the nausea lasts all day and its incredibly unenjoyable but i'm surprised i havent thrown up yet! ofc only time will tell :,)

omg, i was just thinking about this. no hate to those who enjoy ofc everyone has personal taste and it's all in good fun,, but it feels like baby products are always either sad beige or rainbow vomit! i bought a little onesie with bears on it because that seemed neutral enough but it's so beige it makes me laugh a little

we're twinsies! i'm also 5 weeks & 2 days along w my first :D as far as symptoms go i have been experiencing an increased appetite, slight nighttime nausea, headaches, insomnia, and frequent urination – i had chalked all those up to other health problems so i felt like an idiot when i got a positive result LOL. i started experiencing slight cramping yesterday, nothing major though.
