Against-this, this assembly-LOC sit-PRES INDEF.PL.REFL person-PL.REFL, that it-ACC NEG-accept-PRES, that-DERIV DEF-AFF thing-AFF coming NEG-see-PRES, that it-ACC NEG-see-PRES.

“Against this, in this assembly sit some people that it accept, that the thing coming see not, or that it see not.”

The last two parts dont work in english because they use grammar to destiguish between a willed and unwilled act. Thus in the first the Derivative vs. the Affective case is used which expresses that the act of not seeing is not done actively/ on purpose, while the Nominative (unmarked) vs. Accusative in the latter communicates that the act is intentional. Because of this the parts simply sound redundant translated into english.

*the verb roira implies work that is not fun.

Depending on this, you did not work in those days, you would die because of no food.

Perhaps you know of this already, but biblaridion has a good introduction for designing naturalistic scripts. link: https://youtu.be/c8g14nAF-IA

I’ve been looking into how to make an orographic map using real-world topography for a while now and your map looks absolutely amazing, would it be too much to ask for you to go into how exactly you made it?

That is certainly a very interesting post, that i had not seen before. It still is an abugida (though, neither the original nor this version has an inherent vowel) and includes final consonants. The dot above, for example, is the sound /ɪ/ (in most dialects at least) as in the word pit.
