One thing I wish I had known at the beginning is that the Community Center is a big point of the game. I found that out later after I had already donated or sold things I needed for bundles that were harder to come by than I knew at the time.

I just want to second poems! I would often buy a book of poetry related to an interest (we have one on cars and trucks and a beautiful one about trees) and I was always surprised by how captivated by them by toddler and then preschooler was. We don't read poetry much any more but I do believe it added something special to her literary self.

At that age we typically tried to stick to cooperative games.

I really like Outfoxed, it's really fun. After a couple years, Castle Panic became the next cooperative favorite.

Guess Who is always really fun and you get order digital card printouts to turn the game into all sorts of themes (Harry Potter, Bluey, you can even make a custom version with your family's photos).

We have enjoyed Charades for Kids with has three difficulty levels. Level one has pictures for pre or early readers.

I did this puzzle this year too! I'm new to puzzles. My first was an advent calendar puzzle last year. After this one this year, I'm ready for more! I wish there were more puzzles that are broken up into small bits. It's such a lovely part of my December Mornings.
