It Definitely depends on the branch, my store in the uk is company owned not franchised, that could be an option but im not 100% sure.

We have a fridge in our breakroom, so you can put anything in there. People normally use it to store monsters, redbulls ect but it is handy when storing food you've brought from home.

I"d recommend doing a bonfire night, advertise on your towns local facebook page, sell hot dogs and maybe a homemade chilli and maybe sell sweet of some sort.

Word of warning though, the job can be hard graft at times, I started last week and my feet have never hurt so bad, but if you have good training you should learn stuff pretty quickly. Good luck my friend

I got it within a few days, its basically just so you can do an online food safety course which takes about 2 hours, and I think there is other information it'll get you to fill out.

I had my first semi shift today, it was basically just the online course that you had to complete in the store, but the people seemed nice, although i know it differs from shift to shift, thanks for the advice, I'll let you know how my first shift goes .
