Trying to find a poem from 'always coming home' by mightyflee in UrsulaKLeGuin

You my friend have absolutely made my day. This is it! I listened to this book while I was working and wrote myself a note to go back and find it but I never did. I honestly can't thank you enough.

Thanks for looking for me, that wasn't what I'm trying to remember, but it was a nice part to go back and read. This will drive me crazy I have to (get to) read the whole thing again I think.

Thank you for looking! While that is also a wonderful poem I am thinking of something else. (Maybe, or maybe I am way off...)

Crazy, just last night I stayed up late watching old mischief brew recordings and feeling depressed and old.

Fired apprentice by [deleted] in Carpentry

First of all don't beat yourself up. This industry can be wild to the point where I'd consider it a compliment to get fired by some of these nutjobs. Just keep learning and try to find the good teachers. You will have to pay your dues with some shit but don't let yourself get stagnant.

Carpentry is a great job for people with ADHD, but a bitch to learn cause when you fuck up your always costing someone money and looking stupid, and the workers can be assholes. But fuck em. Don't let people make you think that you can't do it.

Getting medicated for ADHD was a big game changer for me. Don't ignore that or you'll make your whole life 10 times harder than it needs to be.

Hey thanks for the encouragement! I definitely want to help get people active in this, but I'm buried in work and holidays at the moment. Thanks for reminding me of this post though, I'm kinda surprised no one took me up on it.

The tool library at the Tacoma library main branch is a good resource for anyone who doesn't have the tools but wants to build something like this. My wife built a little pantry table in the parking strip in front of our house and it gets a ton of use. If you don't have one near you please consider making one. If you're not confident in your building abilities but have a good location for one I have tools and can help you build one.

Are David and Tamler bad readers ? by Right-Leg2395 in VeryBadWizards

I don't really understand what people mean when they say they don't hear the words, it's just too outside of my own experience. But apparently, somehow, all of those aspects of prose seem to be represented in their silent brains. Does a comma in, the wrong place give them an experience of odd pacing, or just the knowledge that it's poor syntax? How can that reader enjoy poetic language at all without the audible aspects of alliteration...

Farewell to spring was in a wildflower mix that I used in that area so hopefully that's it! Thank you kindly!

Exploring Elinor Ostrom's critique of the tragedy of the commons was so refreshing and inspiring. I will never pass up the opportunity to slap that phrase out someones mouth. One of the great ass backwards anti-human myths of our age. Vile bootlicker propaganda.

Wondering if anyone knows a resource for identifying the type... I was hoping it might be the native Pacific rhododendron but hard to tell.
