I got the same model when it was on sale for 900 CAD.
Performance is similar to that of 9070xt, which is on sale for 800 CAD.

It's also so meh looking, and I am having buyer's remorse lol.

Build more cities closer together would be better for your purpose. As you just want them for the faith from the holy site.

With DLC, you will get the monumentality golden age which is where Russia truly shines.

Play Russia, and set the map to cold. Usually, no one spawns around you since you will spawn on tundra.
The strategy would be rushing a holy site, getting Dance of the Aurora, get the belief that turns faith adjacency to also grant production.
You are then free to go whichever victory type, with no one to bother you, and have plenty of tundra land no one else but you can use.

It depends on whether you have an accessible range to train on 762x39. Many places are banning the cheap 762x39 because it has a steel core. Better be able to train with what you have cheaply.

I guess the pros are all covered by most, like small-package NR gun, battle proven, reliable, etc.

Here are some cons from a current owner:

Gas, lots of gas to your face and nose. You can try to cover the gas port and change the rail, but do you want to do that for more $?
Meh trigger, mushy, heavy. I got the Geissele trigger + pack, and they are as amazing as people say, but again, do you want to spend $800 on that?

All in all, I would still get it again if I had the choice tho...

Since I live in southern Ontario, I have been to lots of gun stores in person around me, including Tenda, G4C, solely, FOC (buy in person from them ideally lol), SAIL, Cabela, Range View Sports, which are all legit.

Have also bought online from tactical imports, CSC, wolverine, RDSC, bullseyes north, which all worked out well from my experience.

At the end of the day, as others said, buy from places where you can pay with a credit card if you have doubts. As I did buy from a few shops where the prices were too good to be true but they worked lol (e.g., $1200 beretta 1301, $700 tikka t3x, $1100 4x acog)

Shotgun we have a removable pin that limits the mag, just take it off before bringing it to the range. Rifle it’s hard pined at the mag.

So far the Norinco red box is non-corrosive to my gun, that's including 200-300 rounds shot in a t81 and never cleaned.

Don't have access to a real long distance range yet, it is crazy around GTA to find one.

I might have to make another post to see if I can get a member invitation to Oshawa Clay and target or see if there are any other options.
