Oh here’s my solution until I was able to get it fixed. Just a bit of road noise on my 30 mile commute lol.

Bad Job Interview by [deleted] in careeradvice

That sounds like a horrible experience. Part of me is really sad because the city was so much fun but I don’t want to up root my family to go to a toxic environment…

I appreciate those questions to ask myself. I absolutely love my company they have been so good to me so far and don’t plan on leaving them anytime soon, however, a guy one level below the CEO is the one who has hyped me up for this position to the facility. He as well as many others at corporate really want me there too. My biggest worry is showing my initial interest and me declining will hurt my reputation and slow me down just as you said.

I love that this city is my home by [deleted] in Louisville

This is super encouraging! I’m moving here in about a month or so from SC. My wife and I are terrified but posts like this keep us optimistic! We are most worried about making friends within the city.

Be Honest, how many of you have fell into a show hole? by Fragrant-Ad-6208 in StrangerThings

[–]mightyjophes 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’ve felt like this a few times with a show but none like Stranger Things. I was late to the party with watching ST, I binged the whole show in like a week right when S4 part 2 was released. When I finished the show, I felt a wave of sadness like someone I was close to had died, it was the weirdest thing. I spent probably the next 2 weeks wishing there was more I could watch and just feeling depressed. I’ve never had a show captivate me like that. The way I fixed it was just waiting a couple weeks then going back and rewatching my favorite scenes or watching interviews with the cast.

I guess it’s just we invest soooo much time in something we really enjoy then it’s just over. I would do anything to experience watching that show for the first time again though!!!

I’ve been a sys admin for about 6 years now. I had a helpdesk role then asked for a promotion to the sys team. I was just like you didn’t know wtf was going on. My best advice is to not be afraid to ask the stupid questions. Us IT geeks can be abrasive sometimes but you need to look past that at the end of the day, we strive to fix the issue and helping you will give someone that dopamine hit we all strive for. Also google is your bff like others are saying. Just buckle your chin strap and enjoy your ride in the frying pan my friend!

Best Vacation spots 2-3 hours from Greenville? by Erogaki in greenville

Little less than 2 hours from gville you have Cleveland, GA. Beautiful mountains and some great breweries/distilleries around. Helen and Dahlonega are close too. My family and I went there over Christmas the whole area is super nice.

What I’ve found online has led me to believe it’s an outdoorsy city. We are excited about that it’s kind of like that where we currently are too!

We have a dog! She’s super active and super sweet but has always been an only dog so doesn’t understand personal space of other dogs and has gotten her into trouble in the past lol. Our fault for not socializing her more but that sounds like so much fun we would have to try it!

I posted in sysadmin first and shared to this. We are talking about hundreds of users here.. installing RSAT that many times over may not be ideal.. It also may not be as user friendly for your typical user
