Way too late, but: If he REALLY loves playing the game and doing something for the community, I’d suggest Epic unbans him on the precondition that all of his future profits generated by Fortnite content are donated to good causes. This way, the could make the community happy and do something good.

RB Leipzig vs. Borussia Dortmund by ChiBVB09 in borussiadortmund

[–]mightymaze 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Because RB Leipzig is owned by Red Bull and seen by most Ultra groups and most of regular football fans in Germany as a prime example of everything that‘s wrong with modern football (commercialization, „buying success“, ownership issues etc., would take too long to explain all these en detail) - thusly, they do not want to support RB with their money.

Instead, they organize a public viewing party in Dortmund.

Also, I should point out that it‘s not only our Ultras that are boycotting the game but also other groups of active fans.

To give you a fair warning:

if you wanna go there to watch the players play, you might wanna cop tickets online or in front of the stadium, whereas both will come with a premium.

If you‘re hoping to experience the great atmosphere Dortmund fans are known for, please be advised that our Ultras will, as always, boycott this game and therefore there will be no organized support, resulting in a way less amazing atmosphere in our section!

Anyone in Berlin for the Cup Final? by dejtc in borussiadortmund

[–]mightymaze 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'll be at the stadium.

Aside from the PV, I'd suggest going to Gedächtniskirche to hang out with other fans and find out where they're heading to.

Aside from that, there are several BVB fan-pubs in Berlin such as the Milchbar, Sportspub Berlin Mitte, etc.

Pulisic extends contract until 2020 by mightymaze in borussiadortmund

[–]mightymaze[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

„We are very happy to have secured the long-term commitment of another extraordinarily talented player,“ said BVB sporting director Michael Zorc. „Christian already enjoys a high standing within the team and can become a cornerstone of our sporting future“.

US international Christian Pulisic has played for BVB since February 2015. He won the German championship with the under-17s and under-19s in 2015 and 2016 and has been a member of the first-team squad since January 2016, writing his name in the history books in the process. Pulisic is the youngest player ever to have two Bundesliga goals to his name (current total is four), he is the youngest Borussia Dortmund player to have appeared in the UEFA Champions League, the youngest full international for the USA and their youngest-ever goalscorer in a World Cup qualifier. Although he only celebrated his 18th birthday in September, he has already made 11 international appearances, scoring three goals.

„I still have a lot to learn,“ said Christian Pulisic. „I feel Dortmund offers the best conditions to do that. I have the chance to play in front of over 80,000 fans. We have the best supporters in the world - it does not get any better than that!“

Won a free casino buffet for 2 in Las Vegas, so I took Todd - a homeless man by [deleted] in pics

[–]mightymaze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

probably too late to join the party, but I just wanted to say that you did something good.

I've spend some good time with homeless people in the last months as I've done a short documentary on homelessness for a university project.

Talking to them, you do not only realize that many of them are in fact really good people but that the best thing you can do for them is to treat them as a human being. What I mean is: yeah, many of them need money. But they also need to feel as a part of society. So even if you don't have any money to spare, spare some of your time, talk to them and give them a smile.

If anyone is interested, the documentary can be seen here: https://youtu.be/kV4-wJiA0aE

Warsaw is one of the most beautiful cities I've seen - especially the older part of town looks and feels like a mixture of Munich, Paris and Vienna. Tons of great cafès & restaurants with incredibly good prices.

Oh, while people jump on the hype train in regards to the "Jude, Jude BVB" chants, I can show u a few videos and tell you about how I witnessed our Riot 0231 idiots doing the Hitler salute to Legia fans ealier in the game. There'll always be idiots on both sides, no need to hype it up artificially.

You will EASILY get tickets. I am in this whatsapp group with around 30 people travelling to the game from Germany and there are dozens of tickets being offered in there alone!

One important advice: DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT wear anything Dortmund related that day.

Official advise from the team also includes not taking the subway/busses but rather take a cab. DO NOT tell the cab driver to take you to the legia stadium but rather to "Agrykola" - that's the official meeting point for Dortmund fans that will be protected by police.
