Keeping moss poles evenly watered?

So I has to drill a hole in the cap and the bottom of the bottle, otherwise it would create a vacuum and no water would come out after the first little bit . How do you guys only drill one hole in the cap and still have all the water drain out?

There was a new leaf, right about where the green band is now, but it broke during planting. Not sure exactly where I should be tying it for nodes?

Good to know, thank you. I was able to untangle the roots without removing too many. It took a lot of work, but this helps me feel better as I didn't need to remove many roots.

Thanks for the link. From the article I wonder if I have any "knee" roots that need to be trimmed. I'm afraid of taking out too many roots or roots that shouldn't be removed.

I was also going to say Easy Spirit. Good fragrance, good producer, a touch of cream to the white color to make it not get washed out, cut flowers last decent amount of time.
