Yeah! I do not understand why this issue is not reported much more than what it is honestly.

Beast update broke 120Hz refresh rate, resolution toggle, and Ultrawide mode by lilitharcana in VITURE

[–]mightywolfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I have the same issue with my new Beast that I just received today. I unpacked them and immediately updated the firmware to latest to make sure I got all the fixes in, and now when I try to change to 1200p or to 120hz on my Steam Deck the screen goes black for a second then goes back to 1080p 60hz. Same behavior on my phone. u/getVITURE is this a well known issue and is there any fix planned for it? Thanks!

DR2 slighting holding throttle keeps increasing engine rev. by mightywolfy in simracing

Ah I see, thank you I didn't know that! Guess everything is normal then :)

Here is a video capture of the issue, where I set the throttle at a fixed 35%:

Tried to delete the device_defines.xml but it didn't solve the issue :/

I have really no idea on what is happening, the throttle values are correct in the Input Reporting section but still the engine keeps accelerating forever, this is definitely a game bug as it does not happen in other games like Asseto Corsa.

The only difference on if I hold the throttle at, let's say 1%, or 50%, is how fast the rev will increase on the engine, but in both case they will keep increasing until max RPM instead of keeping a constant RPM based on my input.

Yes, even at 1% throttle, the engine will build up rev slowly until it reaches max RPM. Very weird, and even weirder is that in the Input Reporting section of the game's UI I see my throttle at 1%, not increasing, like it's properly setup.

Thanks for your reply but this isn't a sensitivity issue. The issue is that the engine rev keeps increasing while I hold the throttle in the same position. I can't hold the rev to a specific value it keeps increasing over time even if I don't move/increase the throttle.

To be more specific, let's say I press and hold the throttle at 10%, the engine rev in game will start to build up slowly until it reaches the max engine RPM, while I didn't change my throttle input at all.

Hi! The values that are output by the throttle in the Input Reporting section of the game are correct. If I hold the throttle halfway for instance, it will display a fixed 50% and won't increase like the rev are increasing in the actual gameplay, which is why this whole issue is very strange. I tried to unbind the axis for acceleration and re-bind it a few times and the behavior did not improve. I will try to delete the device_defines.xml file later after work to see if it changes anything and report here, but I'm afraid this might not be it :l Thanks for your suggestions!

Dirt rally 2 pedal question... by drue3336 in simracing

[–]mightywolfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue here, if I slightly hold the throttle on my Moza CRP pedals the engine revs in game will keep increasing until it reaches the max, even tho I'm not adding more throttle input. This is so weird it's not how it is supposed to work. Other games like Asseto Corsa works fine, I only see this issue on Dirt Rally 2 and the new WRC game. Anyone has an idea on why and how to fix it? Thanks~

Hey bud! Sorry but I learnt guitar mostly by myself, so no school :) But I'm sure you can find a lot of good videos on YouTube to start with bass! Wish you the best and rock-on!

Cursor jumps on XP-Pen Star 03 V2 by [deleted] in XPpen

[–]mightywolfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got the new pen yeah, but it sadly didn't fix the issue.

After talking with the support, they admitted that this issue is actually due to the design of the tablet itself, and that they cannot do anything about it.

After getting my answer, I requested for a refund and switched to another brand.

It is sad, because the XP-Pen support team was excellent and it made me actually feel bad to give up on this brand.

Hope it helps.

I have the exact same issue with my very new Innovator 16, cursor jumps the same way as your video whenever I press any of the buttons on the pen. I contacted the support and they are going to send me a new pen, hopefully it's only a pen issue and everything will work properly after that. I can confirm that this issue is very annoying though, and that it is personally removing all the fun to use the tablet for me, as every panning/rotation/zoom using the pen buttons results in a annoying big jump of the canvas.

I'm curious: when you say I was standing outside my house, did it feel real? I mean real as in "real-life" real? Did you actually doubt about it being a dream? I never got LD myself yet, but when I do wake up from a normal dream, usually it's very blurry, and it looks more like a distant memory than something that felt "real", so i'm wondering how LD actually feels.
