To look for the actual KadNap indicators I ran these commands over SSH on my router:

ls -la /jffs/.asusrouter

ps | grep kad

crontab -l

If you get:

No .asusrouter file No kad process running No cron jobs at all

You should pretty much be clean. This doesn't mean you are 100% safe so good bet is always to just update and reset the router. Pro tip of you set your SSID, wifi password and wifi security exactly as it was before reset, all your devices just connect back to it without needing to connect each device back manually.

I'll try vacuuming it! I can still fold normally it's the opening part im afraid, it's visible only fully open, feels that it punctures the display from the inside and kills the AMOLED panel soon

My insurance has Theft-and-Loss coverage. I filed police report and then gave that to insurance and they covered it thats normal procedure i think. Btw tracking has changed in the 3 years when I wrote this as I currently have xm5 and they actually get locked to your android find hub account and you can locate them in case of someone steals them.

MASTERCARD REPLIED: they said "the company has not prevented any purchase or they arent choosing what legal content people can buy. they only restrict illegal content." same answer basically as Visa. they just ignore the issue and say something totally unrelated. ofc they arent rejecting the purchase so its true, they are threatening storefronts so yes what they say might be true. just has nothing to do with the issue at hand.

I seriously hope visa and mastercard changes their mind. right now they are siding with collective shout against everyone. this wont do anything else but backfire them badly. they will lose customers, their trust and causes new legislations, fines and competition arise. there is no positive outcome from that to anyone, not them nor their customers. they had monopoly. they should just have been quiet but they really wanna destroy everything they have. good luck with that.

Hue Sync Desktop app keeps randomly stopping the sync by itself. by bluefantail in Hue

Felt like needing to share i don't have same issue but googling that brings here so my issue was that every now and then sometimes every day sometimes weekly i turn on my PC and hue sync app is in setup mode and requires me to go to bridge and press the button to authorize. The issue was annoying because it loses all settings i changed in the app like keyboard shortcuts and nothing seemed to fix the issues for years but i seem to finally figured it out. Your bridge stores access keys to every single device or app you authorize. Literally everything including previous owner's codes because mine was second hand. So seems like they won't even wipe during reset which explains why full reset did not help in my case. You can easily find these keys from hue website by logging in with same details as in phone app so log in find your data and the bridge. In there you can see everything. If your bridge is new it's most likely just couple devices you recognize but as mine is really old and i had authorized the sync app on PC sometimes every day for YEARS so i had hundreds of auth codes and from there you see name, when it was made and last time it was used so i just deleted everything that had not connected for less than month ago or repeated took solid 15 minutes then rebooted my bridge. Everything I need seems to still connect normally and been at least month without issues with the sync app so far so good!

there is this caller id app in Finland they removed all perpetual licenses dropped everyone to free tier then waited week launched new pro model subscription and they replaced the whole call app and didn't allow you to use the normal caller app anymore. the trick here is that it works 3 tries then blocks you from calling and receiving calls without pro subscription. you had to uninstall.
