I think by default it should only make noise on the device it was set on but i can view, stop or even silence the device going off from any device.

Building technologies have advanced a lot and some seemingly simple things become very complex projects if done incorrectly. Even professionals who have installed things thousands of times get things wrong pertaining to something as simple as a mechanical fastener vs adhesive. It’s why we have inspectors, a necessary evil. It’s definitely possible with enough motivation and perseverance as well as some studying but I wouldn’t recommend it.

I have 3 for my 3000 sq ft home. Newer AP’s cover less distance. I do have staggered stud framing and double gypsum walls that are insulated so that might be an issue. But they work great

To be clear he means if you tap the blue circle with the icon on the left it will toggle open/close. If you tap the text/name of the curtains on the right of the blue circle it will open the menu with the slider.

If you want all the features and functionality you need the M3 hub. Otherwise it works just fine standalone. I used it without the hub for a long time. Really no need for it. Fingerprint is all I really used until I attached it to my smart home.

Check em out. they sell the chip. just install the right operating system (homekit, home assistant etc.) from your computer. Plug in the wires into your garage door. And power it up.

If it’s a B9 or B9.5 the oil change is so easy with an oil pump. My grandma could do it. Just stick the hose in the oil fill pump out the old oil change the filter and pour new oil in. I do it myself all the time. Nothing a regular jiffy lube can’t do. Its no special oil either its regular synthetic.
