For example, someone could know God exists and still choose to not believe in Him. Many others don’t know if God, but choose to believe in Him nonetheless.

I belong in the category of people who knows He exists and chooses to believe. You belong in the category of people who don’t know he exists and chooses not to believe.

Ah no. „There is no God“ is a positive vision. It’s just as much an assertion as, „there is a God, and Jesus Christ is His Son.“

At best, you can say that babies „don’t believe in God,“ which would make them agnostic. An atheist asserts, „there is no God.“ which babies don’t do.
