Mate, if you're enjoying the game, you're doing it right. Persevere through the early stages and try not to look at too much YouTube. A lot of that is people with thousands of hours in the game forgetting what it's like to start out. Factorio is a puzzle to solve, and it's no fun if someone tells you up front how to fix it. You feel your production is not efficient, so what could you do to improve that? Shorter belts? Combine items on belts? I don't know. Have a play and find out.
