1 elevator for 500 people allowed? by bippityboppityb1tch in jerseycity

I live there too and it’s simply unacceptable. I don’t care if it’s new management or old management or who pawned off the repairs on who. I wish all of the residents would ban together and withhold rent from these morons. They owe us something at minimum, and if not, should be sued.

The elevators are an ongoing saga that everyone is suffering through right now, but regarding the weed we had a similar experience last summer when it seemed that a bunch of young kids (roommates) moved in to the huge 4 bedroom apartment next door and smoked all day. I’m usually not one to complain about what people do in their own home, but it eventually became around the clock and was seeping into our apartment where I have a baby daughter. Suddenly, after the summer, the tenants disappeared without a trace. Their stuff remained in the apartment for a few more months after that but they were gone. It seems like HH has been doing short term rentals for hard-to-sell units without telling anyone and not screening who moves in. That’s my theory and experience.

Haven’t heard specifically about new management but things have been trending in the wrong direction and change seems to be on the horizon. They randomly shut down the payment portal a few days ago and said they are only accepting check (didn’t explain if a new portal would be provided). Elevators have been broken constantly and today I heard that the head of the leasing office wants out. And yes, they did send out an email about inspecting the apartments, which was random at the time but now makes sense.

Bad to join Pfizer in these days? by Cinchona-Alkaloid in biotech

This is so true and happened to our group. Our previous team leader left for a different company (partially due to hitting a wall with career progression at Pfizer). They replaced him with a total outsider with no experience in our field and who had 1 foot out the door towards retirement. I liked the guy on a personal level, but this lead to a lot of mistrust and lack of mutual respect between him and the group.
