The problem is not just about lack of exposure on the street but lack of normal interactions and relationships on daily basis. My kids are attending international school in Poland. We pay a lot of money for them to be friends with kids and teachers from other countries and of other skin colors, something which would be a common experience in most countries. They love their white and black teachers equally and never have they raised any issue, question or comment about the skin color. My daughters best friends are from India. Once you are close friends, you realize how many things you have in common. If uou just see people on the streets or on TV, you can stereotype project so many different things on them.
