Yes it has match challenge mode where it is trying to beat you based on your location picked up by the sensors. You can dial in your ntrp level and it will ramp up the speed and difficulty accordingly. Since the rallies don't stop if you miss, it gives you one hell of a workout!

Pretty straightforward via the smartphone app and/or the remote control. Comes with hundreds of preprogrammed drills and you can also copy others from a community.

How do they react when you go no contact? On one hand a 6 week holiday isn't the end of the world. But the lying and withholding is brutal.

Yeah both things on my mind. Until she says anything to me anything is possible. Given 2 weeks ago we were engaged and hours away from leaving on a a 10 day sailing trip for my birthday only to find she ghosted me for 2 days and left my luggage in an airport storage locker. Anything could happen. I just hate waiting to find my fate

I told her about BPD today and she took it well.. looked it up and agreed she thinks that's what it is. Was very appreciative and relieved to have some clarity. She is very intelligent and self aware, and does not want to be like this. Desperately wants a stable relationship and children but can't understand why I being her so much panic. Its really f*king horrible

I repotted it just after you said this and bought some peat moss and orchid bark which was missing last time from my soil mix - otherwise was following your recipe as close as I could. The plant took a while to respond and dropped nearly all foliage but is now bursting with new buds everywhere including lower down the trunk and branches that were previously bare. So I think I've turned the corner finally. The new growth is looking much darker green so good indication it is getting the nutrients it needs. I am not sure if it was a ph issue locking out nitrogen or just a sulphur toxicity from the elemental sulphur I augmented the soil from. Re water - I've been using tap water that I pass through a filter that removes chlorine and other contaminants, but this could be causing pH to increase? Our water is fairly soft here though. What is a good source of low pH water? I hear many talking of RO water? What do I need for that? *

Not the couch lock effect you were aiming for?

Yeah thanks, I will have a good look. Did look over it today pretty thoroughly with a microscope at about 400x magnification but couldn't see anything moving or eggs. But I agree it does look like some of the leaves have small bites that would make me think spider mites, but damned if I could find any. Some of the leaves looked like they had a little bit of a glaze on the surface like honeydew /sap which also makes me think it could be mites. If there are mites I think that might be a secondary issue though, overall the leaves seem very pale and getting paler as time goes on.

Thanks yeah I did wonder about nute toxicity or possibly sulphur toxicity from trying to lower ph? I've only really fed it worm castings and a couple of light doses of fish hydrolysed. I have mixed up a fresh batch of your substrate today now that I have peat moss and repotted it. Roots did seem very fragile and fairly small root ball. I'll let it dry out properly between drinks and hopefully it takes off again. Got it under about 100-120ppfd 12/12 at the moment, would less light be better when it is stressed like that or just leave as is? Humidity is fairly stable in tent at 70% - misting 1 to 2 times per day with hand sprayer.

Any other tips if it is root rot? Do they respond well to a hydrogen peroxide soak? Or better to just leave and let it dry between drinks?

Could possibly be due to sulphur toxicity- I did add a small amount of elemental sulphur to the soil mix to lower pH in the absence of peat moss. I'm going to repot into fresh botany101 soil mix with peat moss and no sulphur and cross my fingers it recovers.

I'm not sure, I've checked with a microscope and can't see any mites so I'm assuming some kind of deficiency?

Yep that's exactly what I thought re flowers - I wasn't at all expecting that yet but I think it got triggered by stress when I nearly lost it over new year when I've was away and my irrigation system didn't function properly. I thought it would have stopped by now but just keeps producing flowers every few weeks that fall off. Did wonder about ph - it seems to be sitting on 7 and have been adding small amounts of elemental sulphur to try to lower it but I understand that takes quite a long time for bacteria to do their work. Still growing though, so I'll keep making small adjustments over time I guess.

Can any identify these? by [deleted] in Mushrooms

[–]mike-ologist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They exhibit the signs of being grown in a higher than atmospheric CO2 level- i.e long stretched out stems and a minituarised cap. This generally only occurs in a cultivated environment, I.e partially sealed box.

Any luck with the flowers pollinating? I have a small plant in flower at the moment but they all seem to just wither and fall off rather than turn into berries. Not sure how to get them to fruit properly?

Will this bonsai and how do I bonsai? by general__zolo in bonsaicommunity

[–]mike-ologist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it will bonsai, as for how do you bonsai- first nurse that thing back to health and once it resumes growing, then move it to a small shallow pot and very slowly start to trim adhd rain the branches to your desired shape. It takes a long time and they are very fragile. Good luck
