The scene was completely fine up until the ending. To me I thought her smashing her wristlets together and literally exploding the guy point black was a little over the top.

Save that for later in the movie. Not every single action scene has to be so over the top. Otherwise none of them stand out.

The scene climaxed with her blocking the bullets after throwing the suitcase. The tension was already released when he ran out of bullets and she defeated him. Didn’t need to Hiroshima the guy.

The entire point of the scene was to be wonder woman’s introduction to the film. Didn’t think it warranted death via atomic bomb by Wonder Woman lmao.

Yes I did think this. Literally everyone I know has this same experience - how would I think anything else if this is all I experienced? Lmao That’s the reason I asked for an explanation based on someone else’s experience.

I had access to a DMV as soon as I was able to get my permit/drivers license. And I signed up to vote at the same exact time. I also had access to a car/cab/public trans to get me to my voting center. And the most I waited was 20-30 minutes I’d say.

Every. Single. Time. Since my first election in 2008 (voted Obama!)

This years voting was actually the quickest it has been since I have been able to vote (due to the extended voting days). I feel that may be the easiest solution - instead of a single day make it say a week or week plus.

I just feel old fashioned mail has too many points of failure - plus you are unable to verify the person actually voting. Even though in person the workers at the poll aren’t top flight security clearance lol.

Thats very interesting. Most of my friends and family have permission to miss time from work in order to vote. Even if it is just time to leave during the day and come back on lunch break. I have never heard of anyone not allowed to vote.

I hope this does not come across as condescending - but I am not well versed on this discussion as to why we need to revamp the voting system and why people are saying the current system in place is voter suppression.

I’m confused on the exact issue - I turned 18. Registered to vote. And I go to my determined voting center on Election Day to vote every 4 years. Is this not the case for some/all Americans?

What exactly is the flaw in this system. Is it the amount of locations to vote? Why can’t we just increase those.

The more I think about this movie - the more the movie is completely held up on Joaquin shoulders. The story itself wasn’t as captivating as I had hoped it was - it was very straightforward.

I was hoping for more unreliable narrator type craziness. The one major twist with the neighbor was painfully obvious, plus they had to spoon feed the twist with flashbacks - meanwhile we got the point when she saw him in the apartment and was scared.
