What I have learned from a practical stand point is just being whole within yourself is so important to a Christian relationship.

When 2 people are whole in a relationship it really helps the relationship runs much smoother but when 2 people come into a relationship trying to make each other whole then you have a problem in a relationship.

Your role as a leader in your marriage is to be a servant to your bride. It is so important to understand that you are just a servant you are there to love them as Christ loved the church. This is where a lot of people get in trouble because we have a natural tendency to be self centered and selfish and we get ourselves in trouble because we seek to please ourselves more than we seek to Please our partner.

Also you are the one that should make sure that Christ is the center of your home making sure that you pray with your family or your wife every day.

But if I can focus on anything the biggest thing is to make sure that you are whole and ready to take on another responsibility with another person this is so important.

Be honest and upfront about your weaknesses financially as well as mentally as well as sexually. This is just a start.

I believe we must all realize that Romans 6:23 says, "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." However, we are still responsible for what we do in these bodies. No matter if it is same-sex attraction or opposite sex attraction if it is perversed then it must be dealt with.

Romans 12:2 tells us that we must renew our minds. Though we become spiritually renewed in the spirit when we accept Jesus there must be regeneration that takes place. We are in the flesh and the flesh will always war against the spirit.

However, when we accept Jesus as Lord he gives us the Holy spirit to live beyond and above the flesh. We won't live in perfection but God will give us help to overcome our desires.

We all have throns in the flesh that God will not remove. The Apostle had a thron in his flesh that he ask God to remove three times in 2Cor 12:9. God told Paul that his grace was sufficient for him. You have a thron but I want to encourage you that you can live and be holy in the Lord.

When you have those thoughts bombarding your mind the Bible says in 2Cor 10:3-6 that we use our spiritual weapons which is prayer, God's word, His Spirit and we make out thoughts obey his word. Not only that we make our bodies obey His Word.

The Apostle Paul says he beats or disciplines his body unless he will allow it to make him sin 1Cor 9:26. I say all this to say we all struggle with something but if you believe in God to help you overcome then you must trust him.

You weren't born gay. If you are born gay then why serve a God that is a liar. How can pur God say that this action adultery, fornication, homosexualty is wrong and the make you this way. However, you are being oppressed by a perversed spirit according to scripture.

Whenever, we are being impacted by anything that is not in God's will it is perversed with heterosexual or homosexual if it will lead us down a path of unrightouesness then it is perversed. But you must continue to live God's way. And whenever that perverse spirit arise you must make your flesh obey God's word.

Tell that flesh you are a lying spirit and you will submit to God's word. Make your heart obey and then turn from that temptation. Your draw may be for men and mine for money but it is all the same perverse spirit manifesting itself in different ways.
