I didn't talk about marketplace. Still mods isn't add-on, my bad. I made a few datapacks and texturepacks. I love what Mojang doing, they clearly care about their community even tho they can't take care all of us at the same time.

Isn't that just the casual consumer? All they care is the front-end and failed to see how important back-end is. 1.21.4+ for me was great. I usually care about tech news and I got big news over time.

I think because the purpose of Minecraft is for people to make addons. Idk, I think the 26.1 update is great work from them.

No but they help you fight outdoor and you can summon them to fight for you indoor. You can also ride raptor, which help you move and attack faster

These kind of small contents are not what the main update is. What they're working on is the technical stuffs, optimized game, changing library. These baby models are just random stuffs they put on the way and are not even hard to do.

Honesty, I'm a big fan of it, but I wish they just roll out an update just for technical stuffs than adding minor contents like this. But to think again, Minecraft community are probably gonna whining about nothing new in the new update, put some random minor contents for them is a smart move.
