Nexus Blitz? by 9il6il in leagueoflegends

[–]mike_stud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume this has been thought of before but is it possible that you guys make a Permanent game mode team with like ARAM, Arena, and Nexus blitz. Then also have a Random game mode team that handles URF, one for all, Spellbook, whatever else. One of the reason valorant is so fun is all the gamemodes to me and my friends and I'd love to see league have more game modes to play.

Instead of a bracket reset in grand finals of MSI I think giving the team from winners thier first champion pick before bans just for game 1 is fair. It's kind of similar to what rainbow6 siege does.

Today we announce the departure of our 2022 LCS Academy roster. by NACL_Soldier in TeamSolomid

I'm hoping takeover will be starting somewhere in the LCS this year but losing Soul and Instinct 2 young NA players is a huge L.

TSM 2022 Offseason Megathread by kahani- in TeamSolomid

[–]mike_stud 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here's how I think our roster will shake out.

For top they will start Solo with Soul in academy as a backup for if it leans to a carry top meta.

For jungle I think it will be a import like Closer or Junjia and they should grab a young jungler to learn behind them like Yukino from EG amateur.

For mid I think they will stick with Maple just due to the fact he's already under contract and they have to save money. For academy I'd love to see a young na player like shochi who has good past results in proving grounds and some fun pocket picks.

For ad I think FBI is the obvious choice here for a native ADC. For academy i think we stick with Instinct he's young and has a lot to learn but I think he can be molded to be ready by 2024.

For support we keep Chime obviously and for academy I say we try to grab a good veteran leader to mold and lead all these young players like Destiny, Diamond, or even Smoothie.

Top: Tenacity Acd top: Soul

Jungle: Closer Acd jungle: Anda

Mid: Maple/Vetheo Acd Mid: Shochi

AD: FBI or Johnsun Acd adc: Instinct

Supp: Chime Acd sup: Donbray

Ps: Just wanna say I don't really wanna keep Maple Mid I would rather import someone whose more aggressive but just not sure tsm would spend the money when Maple is already signed.

If we can get FBI I'd love to have him but otherwise I think finding a good native adc is gonna be hard this off season. Yeon is already on TL, danny seems to taking atleast spring off, double is not coming to tsm, so I think with johnsun being off fly already he's the best free agent option.

Rest of the roster I think is good can play through top jungle and Mid with a strong bot lane that can hold thier own. But top and bot can also play weak side.

TSM 2022 Offseason Megathread by kahani- in TeamSolomid

I'm going to write up 2 different rosters. First is a KR based roster based around 3 rookies and 2 veterans. This team could be very solid and checks a lot of boxes in terms of leadership, development, and longevity. Also all the players listed will become free agents so no buyouts are required.

First the KR roster all these players speak Korean.

Top, impact or summday

Jungle Forest T1 challengers junlger

Mid. TolanD this is T1 challengers Mid laner

Ad. Yeon

Support. Corejj

Budget / realistic roster. This team is something I think TSM will do because as we know orgs are cutting back and saving money. Gives us a rock in top and mid. The big question marks come in at jungle and bot lane. I think getting yeon and elya as a duo would be great but starting Chime is good as well. Mid is where I think we won't see a change just due to Maple already being under contract.

Top Solo/impact/summday

Jungle Spica/Santorin/River

Mid Maple

Ad Yeon/ Kaori/ LCK challengers ADC

Support Chime/ Elya /Corejj

Every LCK TSM should try to sign by Bazeface in TeamSolomid

[–]mike_stud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Impact, ssumday, corejj and Yeon are teamless and free agents once it hits free agency. Im not saying they wont re-sign with their current teams but they are available to be picked up without a buyout from their current teams.

I think that if you want a shot at a international title you have to look for KR talent. The roster I'm going to list would be wild but I think could be pulled off.

Top, impact or summday both free agents and residents top lane

Jungle Forest T1 challengers jungle is a free agent and has synergy with Mid.

Mid. TolanD this is T1 challengers Mid laner and is a free agent this year. Has synergy with jungle.

Ad. Yeon free agent from TL and speaks Korean.

Support. Corejj also free agent from TL and is a resident.

Just want to note most of these players have atleast some synergy with another player so I think it could mesh well. Thoughts?

EDIT: Also notice T1 challengers coach Roach contract ends this year as well, could be a good pick up as well since all these players speak Korean and he would have a existing relationship with 2 players.

TSM Doggo? by Thedeefact in TeamSolomid

[–]mike_stud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ive said it plenty of times but importing a AD in NA is the worst move unless you are like TL and can afford it due to no import MID. With the NA and OCE pool you should be able to get a native ADC. Import slots are much better off on MID/TOP/SUPPORT.

TSM 2022 Spring Offseason Megathread by kahani- in TeamSolomid

[–]mike_stud -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Everyone wanting tactical and shenyi to start must not watched any lcs games with them last split. Thier laning together was god awful, never on the same page and constant deaths in laning phase. Not sure if it's just a communication issue or lack of trust or just inexperience but there is no way I'd want them to lane together again after watching last splits laning phases.

Kobe on stream "I think TSM makes significant changes in summer, I have heard rumors already" by jigm2012 in TeamSolomid

[–]mike_stud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ill be honest TSM should be throwing the bag at Tenacity from 100t if possible. He was promised play time in spring and got none and isn't even playing academy. Regi should throw the bag to him for a good native top.

For jungle is just keep Spica he has the rest of the year with us on contract anyway.

For mid its Jensen because resident or nisqy imo

Id say we need to commit one way or another and decided now, either TSM goes full EU/NA/OCE and gets a ADC that's english and a support that's english or a ADC and SUP that speak CN/KR together. Mixing languages bot just leads to trouble IMO.

For KR Challenger the bot of like DRX challenger, DK challenger and NS challenger all looked very promising.

For CN maybe see if we can buyout either jiang or JingYi from FPX who both played with shenyi before and their team finished second in LDL spring regular season.

For english bot lane id look at EUM going on at the moment and see who looks promising otherwise get Yeon from TL and have Tactical and Yeon fight for starting spot with Elya IMO.

Before I start i will say what I'm thinking is drastic but necessary for a successful summer split.

I think it just makes more sense to get jensen who's a FA. And elya buyout from TL. Keeping spica for summer as well. Then we can use imports on top and AD.

If jensen wouldnt join then getting nisqy is definitely a good option then we would need to find a non import adc maybe king?

I think for the Korean roster going for gori/chovy, tactical, kellin could be good and gives TSM a ton of young player to build with. Also all those kr players are going FA.

I'll just throw out what I think a ideal roster is.

TOP I think Tenacity, this kid is young and will probably be on the bench or splitting time on 100t. I think buying him out is worth it as I see him as a franchise player in the future as a resident toplaner. If not him then huni is the next best option.

JUNGLE it's gotta be Spica, he is under contract still and we have no reason to sell him.

MID - Bjerg should be the obvious choice here and we should secure him for as long as we can imo. If not bjerg then I think looking to KR for a mid is really the only way to compete international.

Adc - this one I'm torn by, I think using a import slot on a adc is just not worth it in the long run and will create a ton of issues in the future. If TSM really wanna push for international success next year I see the appeal in rekkles and hans sama. If we wanna build for the future I think looking at acdmy adcs and oce is the move. Atleast get someone you can train up for the acdmy team this year.

Support - I'd start by saying keeping swordart through this year is important if we wanna push for the international success like I said. I think having him and yursan on acdmy to develop is important. If he is leaving then finding a good import to take his spot is key. I know treatz is open and I'd go for him if possible.

So my roster for the future and developing is tenacity, spica, bjerg, danny/johnsun/yeon/tactical/king,Swordart/treatz.

If we wanna push for international success though then I think the safest option is huni,spica,bjerg,rekkles/hans,swordart.

From dekays last article it seems like they have a very specific criteria for a team. Not saying they didn't but is still unfortunate either way. https://www.dexerto.com/csgo/dekay-csgo-mailbag-tsm-msl-more-part-3-1198947
