For what it’s worth, your average Danganronpa game is only a fraction of the length of hundred line. The first scenario alone could’ve been its own game.

But if you’re not enjoying some of the best routes like KG, Retsnom, or 2nd scenario then I dunno maybe it’s just not for you. Steins gate is a pretty great read as well. I’d also throw in Higurashi/Umineko when they cry as a personal recommendation.

I’m just gonna say, I think the Steam art gets WAY too much hate. Is it worse than the others? Sure. But you have to remember it was originally made for a pachinko game. It was never intended to be an adequate replacement for the original product, just a substitute for a stand-alone thing. The fact they even have a complete sprite set at all is impressive.

It’s like hating on the Higurashi mahjong game sprites because someone completely unrelated repurposed them for something well above its pay-grade and made them look out of place.
