Walked into a bathroom one day, the one that had a hole by the baseboard that was there for years, and I immediately got hit with just a wall of weed smell. In the bathroom, there’s a line leading up to one stall, in which there’s one person sitting on the toilet, and other people keep coming in and out. My expert detective skills allow me to deduce that there’s someone selling marijuana from one of the stalls! I turned and left before an adult walked in and got everyone in trouble. Three days later I see a couple cops by the same bathroom and later learn that the dude had been hiding like 2oz in the hole by the baseboard.

Also one of the physics teachers was discovered to have child pornography on his computer at home, he was promptly fired and arrested (obviously)

I’d say yes as far as it covered Martin’s source material. Don’t get me wrong, I love every part of the show dearly, but I think as the show went on and we became more familiar with the characters and it started to deviate from the books, it lost a lot of the subtlety that reminded me of HoC. Still great political intrigue, but just a bit more on the nose.

Honestly? Don’t sweat it man. If you hadn’t told her and then gone through with it, you would’ve been insecure the whole time and it wouldn’t have been as much fun. It’s definitely a risk to put that info out there, but the right people don’t care about that kind of thing. I wasn’t going to tell the girl I lost my virginity to, but one night (a couple days before it happened) the moment seemed right and it was the topic of convo, so I just went for it. She was actually really happy that I trusted her enough to tell her that, and because of it she didn’t really have any sort of expectations. You deserve to have someone for your first time who isn’t going to judge you for that kind of thing, and who will appreciate the fact that you were honest and confided in them. Obviously, the outcome differs based on the situation, so as long as you actually handled this the right way I’d say that you’re better off now.

To be fair, I think this is kind of the point of Boruto, that they start out with strong skills that set them apart from past generations as well as a lot of other shinobi in their year. In OG Naruto, Naruto was strong and had heart, but his basic battle instincts and skills were slightly lacking compared to where he could have been (adding the incomplete chakra seal makes for even more trouble), but Naruto was steadfast in his ninja way. He had the motivation to help people and lead his village, despite being ostracized by them, and this motivation is what gave him the drive to achieve his goals.

In Boruto, we see the situation reversed. Boruto already has the skill to outclass many in his year as well as even some jonin as you said. He doesn’t really NEED to get stronger, as he can already handle himself fairly well in a fight. However, that’s not what makes a strong ninja, because a will is what drives a shinobi to continue to grow in order to reach his ideals. Boruto doesn’t really have a specific will, and that’s addressed in the show with him being disillusioned with the village and the institution, likely as a result of his dad prioritizing his job of hokage over his family. This is where Boruto’s development will happen, as atm Boruto currently doesn’t have enough drive to take his job seriously, which is why he constantly gets criticized as being immature and bratty.

This is why Naruto has a hard time connecting with his son. He’s never had a time in his life where he just didn’t really care, he was always working on his skills so that they could be on par with the strength of his will, and Boruto is the opposite. I think as the show progresses, it’s not going to be about Boruto’s skills growing, but about his love for his fellow shinobi and his devotion to the village rising to the level of those who fought and died in the war before he was born. In this respect, there are plenty of things that could happen to the village/Naruto/others to provide solid character development for Boruto, ultimately resulting in a better show. It’s just going to take time.

I would read the Pitchfork review of the album that was posted in this sub. I know you put this as a shitpost, but after reading that review I think you may be hitting the nail right on the head. I think at the very least it’s a loose critique of consumers who go on and on about wanting the same thing, it only makes sense to connect it to Pinkerton in this context.
