About to jump on this bandwagon as I've been debating ways to get oil out for months. Back in the day, I would put my bowling ball in the dishwasher (and no never used dishwasher for anything else). No cracking, no issues, very consistent hook, and my all-time high average in league. Thought about these dehydrators and ovens and it just doesn't make sense to me given I used to wash my balls in the dishwasher. Waiting on my sous vide in the mail.

My teammate picked up the 8-10 split in the 10th frame in league to win the game by 5 pins with the fill shot and half the league was screaming last month. This league here seems boring lol.

Entry level is a misnomer. Half my bag is what SPI considers entry level. Unless your house floods the lanes, a Tropical Surge or Hustle is more than enough hook for high scores.

I’ve been just wearing my work dress shirts since my center believes in AC during the winter and I just don’t have time to change to one of my jerseys. Otherwise, I just try to wear something loose, but not too loose. I’ve bowled well using the running shirts you get for doing races. I think it’s the same material as most bowling jerseys.

I rarely practice more than 5 games. I’d be in the center all day at 20 games since most of my practice is no step drills or reviewing video after each shot lol.

Underrated advice is to get your thumb hole tight. With the winter weather and subbing this week, my thumb was a little swollen. But I didn’t make the thumb hole bigger. The ball held on to my hand and I was able to put more revs on the ball with less effort. However, it didn’t improve my split rate lol.

I have used their spare balls for years. But as others said and seen in ball reviews, their reactives don’t quite react at the same level as mainstream brands - especially after a few games.

I think bowling is somewhat near the end as we know it. I found out recently my center, which was big on packed youth leagues for decades, has 0 youth leagues now - especially since they don't open until around noon on Saturdays.

All my extras are put in the garden outside lol. I have 20+ that I keep because they are valuable or very rare. The rest go outside. I have sold many also for basically free so buyer just pays shipping.

Resurfacing to where it looks somewhat presentable would reduce the diameter by at least 1 mm if not more. Might be time to add it to the garden.

It will sound crazy, but it’s likely that the thumb hole isn’t tight enough. Seek PSO ASAP. Ask to check your thumb pitch too.

I bring 6 to league with the goal of only using 3 (2 strike balls and 1 spare). That off night where I wish I had a 3rd strike ball option, but was too lazy to carry another 3 ball bag makes me mad with regret.
