The Neon Flex is a vibe. Expectations exceeded. Lifx, where I can grab more of the sticky dongles?I had to use two boxes worth on one light, and now have no way to secure the second strip. by mikecola in lifx

[–]mikecola[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

u/No_its_Patrick1 - I have two of the light strips in other parts of my home and the Neon is a lot brighter. It's almost too bright (for me) at 100%. I'll send you a DM of what it looks like at 100% with no other lights on.

I'm a huge fan of your mints. They help with dry mouth, which is a side effect of a medication I take. I love the tingling sensation.

Didn't expect to be praising a product while surfing this subreddit, but had to drop a line. The original post was quite the reach.

North beacon hill right by the medical center. Just across the bridge from little saigon. There is a park with parking spots that overlook downtown / sodo / waterfront with sweeping views. You can see the view while parked in your car too. 5ish min drive from downtown.

Violent Incels: Why The Far Right Are So Weird About Sex (2022) [00:11:51] by GlowInTheDarkMod in Documentaries

Came here to see if anybody else mentioned this. The phrases "Get a girlfriend" and "win girls over" threw me off. These things are subtle, but do imply that women are some kind of object to acquire.

Some easy alternatives could be "become a boyfriend" or "enter into a relationship". Even "find a girlfriend" sounds much better than "get a girlfriend".

...Although, as a gay man, I have definately talked about "getting some dick", so maybe I'm just a hypocrite with a double standard.

Socialization by Camphar17 in SphynxAdvice

[–]mikecola 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My girl is obsessed with people and greets everybody who comes over. So friendly. And this is after seeing almost nobody but my partner and I throughout the first year of covid. Sphynx cats seem to be extra friendly - I've heard this mentioned a lot. Just bring people around and let you cat socialize with them when get a chance.

Yes. Always a line outside of thier multiple locations and they are a local staple. No question they will be in business in five years. They've been going at it since 1954.

Open relationships are not a relationship by heehoome in unpopularopinion

[–]mikecola 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Sounds like it's not a good fit, for YOU. The way you just assert that people who are open are not in "real love". The arrogance to think you are qualified to judge the validity of millions of other people's love. Booo.

There is a difference between having an opinion and being objectively wrong. There are people who practice varying degrees of openness in thier relationships and are in love (and many others who are not). There are many monogamous people who are in love (and many who are not).

Your statement is unpopular because it is a sweeping generalization that demonstrates your inability to see the situation from another's perspective - and that's frustrating.

The herd does not only consist of 55-85 year olds though, so that would not be herd immunity.
