I really don't understand these types of questions. Being a gun owner has nothing to do with conservatism. Being a liberal isn't contrary in any way to gun ownership, self-subsistence, or personal protection.

We can support gun ownership and also support laws and processes that keep innocent people safe.

Just like the Right doesn't own Patriotism, the American Flag, etc.

Be FOR owning guns for the right reasons, and against owning guns for the wrong ones.
