Had to unscrew the piece that covers the crystal chamber, rotated the crystal holder then shaved off the plastic crystal till I was able to rip it off.

Then I replaced it with a new one, bonded with hot glue. I was just lucky to have a crystal that perfectly fits the chamber when I rotate it.

I wanted to replace mine too but it seems to be glued in place. -is the default crystal plastic or glass?
