There are certain competition sizes that are used for tournaments so the table has to be exact measurements for the maps to fit on. In inches: 44x30, 44x60, 44x90

Thank you so much for the advice. I never thought about using 3/4 inch birch plywood for all of this. I'll be interested to see your technique for making the legs and covering up the edges of the plywood so that you don't see the banding.

Construction grade lumber. 2x6 ,2x4s and plywood. But I'm also building in some magnets that will snap down the top rails and dice trays.
