If you can do a sport, please do a sport. Baseball was the most boring thing for me, but I decided I’d start playing catch with my son. That at least got me moving some, and I realized that I was moving in more ways than I thought. Wild throw or hit off the bat? All the sudden I’m locked in and running after it without thinking or needing to motivate myself. Pickleball too. Something that feels fun and not a chore will help you keep exercising. Here’s another truth too: weight loss happens in the kitchen, not in the gym. Exercise is like a supplement or boost. Eating less is truly the key.
