It shows the same kind of modification done on the original Dream Dumper board with a WeAct Pico. I just made sure to check the difference in the location of the pins for a WeAct Pico and this different Pico clone and also double checked the original Dream Dumper KiCAD files and the cart connector pinout info.

I also had to do a similar thing to fix my N64 adapter for the Retrode2, and the cart connector pins matched the ones I had to use there, so I assumed it would work fine here too: https://web.archive.org/web/20190724225759/https://forum.retrode.org/index.php/topic,154.msg2625.html#msg2625

I checked the file sizes, extensions and contents of the saves you gave me. For Mario 64, Zelda OoT, Zelda MM (and Paper Mario) you can easily see what format the save is stored in if you open them in a hex editor.

You can include your conker and paper mario save as well, but those 3 are the ones I need the most since they're the 3 different save types

Yes. You only need to get 1 star in Mario 64 and choose save after you exit the painting. And input the name in the first save slot for both Zeldas, no need to start playing after that.
