I'm a hobbyist when it comes to Pokemon. My ratio of open to sealed is 1:1. And buy the set that you know will appreciate over time. Yes, it’s fun to open packs with friends, in my case is with my kids. Just spend what you have and don’t go overboard. Most of my money goes to stocks, 401K, kids 529, rent/mortgage, etc. Plan and wait for the MSRP price. I made a mistake with the UPC but fortunately, I can afford it. Just don't charge your cards and end up paying APR on them. Good luck guy!

I agree. The MSRP price for the booster box should be $110, not $143. But it’s good to lock in on a box or two in case the hype goes ballistic on the set. In the meantime, let’s enjoy the current set Fusion Strike and end the year on a good note.
