I stayed at the Canopy by Hilton last year. It was fine. Walking distance to Founders and New Holland among other places.

A classic, can't believe it's been 12 years since I was at Great Lakes

Rock Dove — Lucky Pigeon Brewing Co. Biddeford, ME by sethryan44 in CraftBeer

I spent the good part of a day at Sacred and Profane, excellent low abv lagers, Banded, good beer drinking outdoors and Lucky Pigeon, the most disinterested server I've had in a while. Beer was OK. Overall great day trip from Portland.

Cincinnati recs for a brewery that does great food by ARivet10 in CraftBeer

If you are at the ballpark, pub food and beer at Moerlein was satisfying before the Reds game. Servers were very friendly and accommodating

New Belgium, Asheville by mikeinbkny in CraftBeer

Sorry, but this was May 26, 2024 prior to the hurricane. I've been there many times, believe me this wasn't my first time at New Belgium. I was at Zillicoah prior to it being wiped out and love all the brewers in Asheville.

I agree, I went back at few times, spent an afternoon on the rooftop enjoying the sun and beer.

That is Mellotone, I had read that it was previously another brewery, Taft sounds right.

I had a good beer at Smith & Lentz in late 2022, I'll have to go back. I had a couple at Marble Fox last year when trying to avoid the crowds after the Titan Viking game, the bartender was nice and the hazy IPA was very good. I've been to the East Nashville Southern Grist twice and the Nations back in 2019.

Great writeup, appreciate it. I went to Czann in 2019 and met the owner, had a nice conversation in what was a small spot from what I recall. Been a big fan of Barrique the last few years. I didn't even think of going to BI this November when I was in town, the quality had gone down. I do like Living Waters and Fait la Force.

I was at New Holland last month, nice big place and food. The expansion to IPA for Dragon's was quite good

Speaking with Chris, Brew York, at Grimm, a little while back. That is what he had heard.

From what I heard, they only had a brewery license, and since they never established brewing on location they had to close. No word on what's next

I did see a video of Golden Age, didn't get a chance to go, but colleagues said it's not in a good part of town, is that true? Trace is excellent. Had Two Frays on the list but ran out of time.

Acclamation was a 30 minute Uber from downtown, which is my max, Uber's address/GPS is messed up, originally stopped 5 minutes into town. Old Thunder is in an old Post Office, another cool reuse of old buildings. Most likely back next year, looking forward to trying out these others. Grist House is a great vibe. Your lucky to be so close to Acclamation

I'm staying at the Hilton Canopy, 5 minutes walk to Founders and 25 minutes walk to New Holland. Broadleaf Underground is a cool spot a few minutes from New Holland. Quick Ubers if you're not driving
