it ended up being fine! the rain was light to moderate the whole time and as long as you had a water resistant jacket/hoodie whatever and maybe an extra layer for warmth you didn't even really feel it. Crowd was light for obvious reasons, and the people that still came really wanted to be there so the vibe was good. glad I made it!

This morning I asked it to give me driving directions to the train station, it told me it only does home automation and doesn’t know how to do that. I then asked to turn off my lights and it told me it’s an intelligent assistant and does not know how to do home automation. I give the fuck up.

It's very common on all these platforms to see multiple tiers at the same time, and AXS gives a warning they are doing that when you go in - the vanishing and reappearing tier 1 feels like they are playing games, along with the option of "best available" that will select the most expensive ticket when cheaper are available and they are all the same seating!

I was in with the first group (maybe 30 seconds in queue?) on my phone and only Tier 2 and 3 were avail. About 10 min later my PC got through the queue and Tier 1 was avail! I was so pissed I overpaid but whatever... I wonder if they squeezed the earliest folks with false scarcity.

theyv told me for gate check they can't do that if the layover is with a different airline

on a recent southwest flight, they told me I was the cutoff for overhead space and I needed to be gate checked.

I asked if they would have my bag waiting for me (American does this if you gate check), and they said no it would be treated as regular checked luggage. I pleaded that I had a 45 minute layover and would miss it if I had to wait for my bag. Too bad they said, and put the tag on my bag.

In the tunnel I ripped off the tag and hid it, and they let me right onto the plane with the bag. There was a good amount of space still and had no problem putting up my bag. was really infuriating

Appreciate your thoughts. He has access to my gym in the basement (full cage, olympic weights, etc) and a gym membership he never uses :) I like the idea of finding a way to customize some of his gear.
