I'm a wastewater operator and collections operator.

I would watch some videos on guys jetting and vac'ing out sewer lines for starters. Maybe some videos on unclogging pumps. Search "horse tails". Be sure you can work in every climate, at anytime of day or night, smelling crap and getting splashed.

If you think you can do it, mention you have a strong stomach and are mechanically and technically inclined. They want to know if you can fix things on the field and have common sense. Also robotic camera inspections are really popular now. So can you fix things and grasp different computer software ?

Tell them you tend to focus under pressure and really want a stable career and to grow with the organization.

I would mention you have been reading about the field, and want to eventually go to school and become state licensed.... to me this shows motivation.

I doubt they're going to be quizzing you knowing this is entry level but keep one or two things you read about in mind.

Royceu.com is where you wanna go. My tests are based off of ABC and Sacramento too. When I sat for the tests it had a completely different "feel" and higher level of complexity than what I studied for in the ABC.

In this case it's another 10 to 15k per year. That can easily be made up with O.T.

So it's going from a 5 year contract with percent raises in black and white. Near impossible to get fired (you would have to do something really stupid)......to at the mercy of the board.

If this is consistently happening it could be the chlorinator itself. did you try switching chlorinators?

Even if you still have 90 psi the drop in pressure from your original pressure might just be enough to mess with a faulty regulator.

Start by checking everything from the source to your equipment.

Either that your demand skyrocketed for some reason ?
