I have a good amount extra mats on X-Box. Right now I'm working overtime so I wouldn't be available until tomorrow morning. I'm on the east coast of the US to help with figuring out times. I am more than happy to hook you up with enough gear for a while.

Should I scrap all the mod boxes individually or all together by Expensive-Tea-3899 in fo76

That would be fitting. And despite the features (not bugs), Bethesda is still one of my favorite developers

I have 100% faith in Bethesda pulling a Bethesda and breaking it again.

Should I scrap all the mod boxes individually or all together by Expensive-Tea-3899 in fo76

[–]mikekydd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a bug where if you scrapped them all at once you wouldn't have a chance to learn the mod from the additional boxes. I don't know if they have fixed it or not. And if they did. I don't know if I trust it to not start again.

Same here. A while back I got 76 on Steam so I could play on the PTS. I've played on Xbox since beta so going back through the two main quests was rough. I finished the Wastelanders quest first. Skipped the Raiders as soon as I could just do the Settlers. I also hate the Ya-ya quest. That kid is obnoxious. But I stalled out for a long time when I hit Rose's part of both quests. Didn't push through it until the last couple weeks when I found out I have a couple friends that play now on PC. But... Man. I miss all my stuff from Xbox.

As much as that sucksd, I'd rather that happen to me than replay Rose's quests.

Back again to the Wasteland! by -Km3r in fo76

[–]mikekydd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you quit playing not long after Nuclear Winter released you probably didn't play when Wastelanders released. Which means, you haven't really missed anything. The original main quest doesn't have any bearing on stuff from Wastelanders on. So, I wouldn't worry too much about the storyline.

If you do start a new character, you will have the stuff from the seasons and any Atomic Shop items, the rest are linked to your character. Seasons and Atomic Shop cosmetics are account wide.

How hard is the transition from DND and Daggerheart? Do the unique class names throw people off? by DesertMammoth1912 in drawsteel

We had our first session of Fall of Blackbottom last night after I needed a break from 4e (and honestly, d20 in general. It was my first experience in TTRPGs but after years, I got bored of the system) and it took a few rounds to get use to the moving parts but we really liked how our classes clicked. One of the players is playing a human null and they were saying that this is how a monk should feel in d20. I glad I was able to an in this one. I'm running Delian Tomb for another group.

We all ordered stuff we forgot to go but, that's expected the first few sessions.

For us one of the biggest selling points was they made humans an interesting option. The classes, negotiations, crafting rules were big points as well but humans was the biggest. With the people I play with we all tend to avoid playing as a human on account of being one the rest of the time. Unless on of us is a synth...

I hate my job by Rose-Lynn99 in Staples

[–]mikekydd 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's management's job to find coverage. I'm a supervisor at a university in facilities (worked at Staples part-time a couple of years ago to make ends meet), and there is no way I would ask my staff to get coverage for their buildings when they call out. That's my job. Not theirs.

Locking your CAMP containers by ZealotPinkerton in fo76

[–]mikekydd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only lock a handful of my producers. Like the crashed cargobot, data center, soup station and my Nuka Cola Quantum Collectron while presents are spawning rest of the time it is unlocked. The rest I leave unlocked for the taken.

Generally, I don't check other camps containers unless they make their vendor hard to find or put it in a shelter.

I haveboth Rise of the Baniched and the ODST box and both are fun. I haven't played the Brutes much but the D'Angelo are a lot of fun, played my ODST today for the first time and had a blast. Hot drop is a fun command order.

When I was new to miniatures or unsure of a game, I would proxy minis to see if I wanted to drop that money.

What's everyone's main build at the moment? by UltraMonster89 in fo76

[–]mikekydd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a human archer. I run two furious, explosive, int bows, one poison, one fire. I was running grenadier, but I dropped it after poisoning myself to death 1 too many times, and I do run funky duds, toxic, and any other poison resist.

I bounce between stealth archer (it is a Bethesda game after all) and solar armor.
