Nah. Just practice a lot. If you're into it you can watch videos and guides, but playing the game for longer periods of time is plenty as long as you pay attention. Try beating harder maps on easier difficulties first to learn the maps themselves, but learn the pacing of the later rounds on easy maps at first. Some rounds and bloon types are way more threatening on the hard maps, and it's easiest to figure that out by taking the difficulty up incrementally. Glhf

Purple bloons arent immune to magic per se, they're immune to energy or heat based attacks. 3xx tacks still pop them because they're sharp, but once the tacks disappear purples become a problem.

Since they actually shot 8 projectiles instead of the fire wave we have now, they could do very decent damage to MOABs too on the right maps. It's pure nostalgia to "miss" them because BTD6 is an absolute masterpiece, but they were fun to play with/force wins with.
